Amazing realism, stunning colors and detail in this impressive art pendant!

We're so excited to bring you these amazing pieces by lampworker, Elaine Forbes!

Elaine is from Scotland and has been lampworking since 2009. She works mainly in borosilicate glass and loves the reactive qualities that are possible from a single rod just by treating it to different heating profiles and flame chemistries.

Her background is a Scientist. She has a BSc in Genetics and a PhD in microbioloby, however she discovered a love for lampwork while working in Arizona as a Postdoctoral researcher. She is now a full time lampworker and spends her winters in Arizona and summers in Scotland.

This pendant is 1.75 inches long. Absolutely stunning!

This pendant pictured, is unique and is the exact pendant that you will receive.
It is handmade individually by Steve McCarthy, entirely freehand in a torch flame, out of borosilicate (pyrex) glass.

Even though it's glass, Steve, like us, strives to create work that is very difficult to break. If you are careful and don't drop it or bang it into something, it should last a lifetime. That said, due to the nature of this particular design, and it not being our own work, we are not able to offer our "lifetime free repair guarantee" on these pieces. If you ever have any issues we will do our best to help you with a repair at a minimal cost.

All of our pendants are signed and dated with an etching on the reverse side.
