The petals in this piece are made of a fume of pure 24k gold, trapped with clear glass and bloomed 3 dimensionally into the pendant with a technique known as implosion.

The organic, elongated droplet shape is the result of using the flame, gravity, and the natural tendencies of the individual piece to cause the glass to flow into an elegant, complimentary shape, this is a signature form that Jeremy has been working on for several years.

It is handmade by Jeremy of Bella Glass, entirely freehand in a torch flame, out of borosilicate (pyrex) glass.

All of our pendants have carefully crafted and sized bails (loops), designed to be both very strong and also very easy to slip onto different necklaces. So that it will last for years and easily be worn with as many different outfits and necklaces as you would like!
